Dr. Carrie Leypoldt was born in Fairfax, Virginia and raised in sunny Tampa, Florida. She ventured out to Colorado to enjoy the outdoors and leave the humidity behind. Her dental training was completed at the University of Colorado (Go Buffs!). During her time at CU, Dr. Carrie was awarded an externship and traveled to the remote town of Bethel, Alaska to provide dental care to the underserved through the Indian Health Services. She continues to attend lectures and seminars to provide the highest level of dental care to her patients.
When Dr. Carrie isn’t at the office, you can find her on some sort of adventure. She enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, music festivals (especially if Bluegrass is involved), and is slowly learning how to make it down a mountain on skis (safely!). Dr. Carrie is married to her wonderful husband, Brian. They live in Lafayette with their two fur babies- their dog, Winston, and cat, Hobie.
Annually recognized since 2011 as one of Colorado’s best dentists by 5280 Magazine, Dr. Mike Israelson has been serving patients locally since 2002. A native of Boulder and sixth generation Coloradan, Mike is proud to live and work where he grew up. After studying music and science at both Indiana University and the University of South Australia, Mike completed his dental training at Indiana University.
Dr Mike followed dental school with a hospital residency in surgical and emergency care at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He holds the rare distinction of being a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a recognition held by only 6% of all dentists. Dr Mike is an avid skier, mountain biker, mountaineer, and drummer. When not playing in a local band or writing for ski magazines, Dr Mike can be found with his wife chasing his two boys around the mountains.

Dr. Mike received his dental training at the Indiana University School of Dentistry and completed a residency in hospital and emergency dentistry at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as the American Dental Implant Association. Outside of the office, he is an avid skier, biker, mountaineer and writer, and 6th generation Coloradan.
